Child Safety Standards
Last updated 3 August 2026
Relatiza is an adult dating platform. Everyone here is 18 or over.
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out what we prohibit, how we prevent it, how to report it, and what we do when it is reported.
What is prohibited
The following are banned without exception and regardless of intent, framing, or whether anyone was harmed:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any image, video, drawing or text that sexualises a person under 18.
- Sexualising a minor in any way, including in conversation, profile text, or a request to another member.
- Grooming — building a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Soliciting, offering, trading or advertising CSAM, on or off Relatiza.
- Sextortion, including threatening to share intimate images of a minor.
- Trafficking of minors, or facilitating it.
- Using Relatiza while under 18, or helping someone under 18 to do so.
How we prevent it
- Age is required to create an account. We ask for a date of birth and refuse the account if it is under 18. There is no path around this — including signing in with Google, which does not supply a date of birth, so we ask for one before the account is created.
- Every photograph is reviewed by a person before it appears anywhere on Relatiza. Not after a complaint.
- Identity verification. Members can verify with a selfie performing a gesture we choose at that moment, checked by our team against their profile photographs. A saved image cannot pass it.
- Reports are actioned by people, not closed automatically.
How to report
Inside the app, open any profile or conversation, choose Report, and select Underage user or the reason that fits. Reports about a minor are treated as urgent.
By email, write to childsafety@elitecircle.site. This address is monitored and is the point of contact for law enforcement, regulators, child protection organisations and platform partners.
You do not need a Relatiza account to report to us by email, and you may report anonymously.
What happens when we receive a report
- The account is suspended immediately while we review, so nobody can be contacted through it in the meantime.
- A member of our team reviews it. Reports concerning a minor are not handled automatically and are not queued behind other work.
- Confirmed violations result in permanent removal of the account. There is no appeal, and we do not accept a new account from the same person.
- We preserve the evidence and report to the relevant authorities. In Nigeria that includes the Nigeria Police Force and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP). Where the material or the people involved are outside Nigeria, we report to the appropriate authority in that country.
- We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement and preserve account data when asked to.
Our legal obligations
We comply with Nigerian law, including the Child's Rights Act 2003, the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Where our members or the conduct reported fall under another country's jurisdiction, we comply with the applicable law there as well.
Nothing on this page limits any obligation we have under law, and we do not require a court order before acting to protect a child.
Getting help
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police on 112 or 199 before contacting us.
NAPTIP operates a 24-hour helpline on 0703 000 0203 for trafficking and child exploitation.
